Recently, I found out that Kodak is the first company that has responded to the public outcry regarding the damn near illegal price fixing going on in the consumer inkjet printer market. In some instances, consumers are paying up to $8000/gal for plain ink making it the most expensive liquid on the planet. Kodak has introduced the EasyShare line of printers that are reasonably priced printers and have inexpensive replacement cartridges. The multi-function printers range in price from $129-$199 and the ink cartridges are $10 for black and $15 for 5 color. I know where I will be purchasing my next printer from!
I hope many others do too and hopefully all the major players will change their price fixing ways.
